Hon. Mrs. Stella, Oreme Odey-Ekpo Attends National Industrial Skills Development Programme Graduation

The honorable commissioner for local government affairs, Cross River state, Hon. Mrs. Stella, Oreme Odey-Ekpo today graced the graduation ceremony of National Industrial Skills Development Programme graduation at the Industrial Training Funds in Calabar. Over 105 Cross Riverians graduated today at the ceremony and were empowered with equipment based on their areas of specialization. The ceremony had in attendance the Secretary to Cross River state government, Barr. Tina, Banku Agbor as representative of the governor. Hon. Mrs. Stella, Oreme Odey-Ekpo in her remarks urged all the participants to make good use of the skills which there have acquired and also put into good use all the items given to them as startup.

Rovers Fc yesterday earned another emphatic victory on home tuff as the team defeated Giant Brillars Fc, much to the delight of the home supporters. Rovers Fc dominated the game from kickoff, but the goals weren’t coming forth, as the first half ended in a stalemate. The team continued were it stopped in the second half as there dominated the game with 75% of the ball possession. Rovers Fc was rewarded with a goal in the 75th minutes by a Murphy Ndukwu Strike, this was followed by another stunning goal by Daniel Eni in the 85th minutes. This win makes it back to back victory for the Calabar based team, as management and supporters were impressed by the home team performance. Speaking after the match, Rovers Fc chief coach Samuel Asuquo said: “We weren’t under pressure, we knew that we were going to win.
