It's possible to earn 24 million naira a year, as a blogger, at $274 (N65,760)/day or $100,000.00 (N24,000,000.00)/year at $0.25 CPC, from Google AdSense through your blog. However, you'll need approximately 100,000 unique visitors to your blog at 1% CTR, which gives you about 1,000 clicks/day.

To be honest, only established bloggers can achieve this. However, there are other faster and easier ways to earn from your blog... It would be part of what you'll learn from my blogging class this Saturday.

Here's how much Linkda Ikeji charges for custom adverts on her blog:
Leader board (Header) - N1,500, 000 monthly
Sidebar ads (Top) - N600, 000 monthly
Sidebar ads (All site wide) - N500, 000 monthly
Sponsored posts - N50, 000 per post (If she posts it 10 times, you pay N50,000 times 10)
Page branding (background takeover) - N2,500,000 monthly

I have personally paid her huge sums of money in the last three years, for using her blog. The last time I advertised on her blog was in November when I was handling publicity for my late principal, Prince Abubakar Audu of blessed memories.

We were 25 people who paid N50,000 into her GTB/UBA accounts each, in a single day, just to have our articles/posts published on her blog.

That's about N1,250,000 made in a single day, so don't be surprised if she floats her own bank next, having just bought and furnished a house with almost a billion naira!

Fee covers creation of your own professional blog to look like www.philipobin.com, lunch, 10,000 Nigerian email addresses + 10,000 GSM phone numbers you'll need to send text messages and emails to follow your new blog to jump start your career, plus N100,000 club080 vouchers each for first 20 people to pay

Nigeria’s e-commerce industry has experienced a massive surge in the last three years and now worth $550 million (about N109.4billion), with Jumia and Konga selling to over 1 million customers regularly

Good news is that you really don't need to spend plenty money building and designing your own ecommerce website before you take advantage of the new trend which is fast rendering physical shops and trading inactive.

You can start with a blogging career, by attending my one-day blogging training, where your own professional blog will be developed for you - free!

But what is a blog?
A blog is a frequently updated online personal web page. It is a place to express yourself to the world. A place to share your thoughts and your passions.

How do you make money from blogging?
There are multiple ways of making money from blogging:
Google Adsense: Google places relevant adverts on your blog, and pays you as people click on the adverts.

Affiliate Marketing: There are many companies that offer affiliate programs that enable you to earn money through your blog. Jumia, Konga, Kaymu, Efritin are a few of them, and I will teach you how, at the training.

Network Marketing: Network marketing is one of the hardest businesses to venture into, especially in Nigeria; but with easy and reliable networks like Club080.com/philip you can earn N1,000 - N40,000 daily through your blog

Sell your own Ad space: You can sell your own ad space directly to advertisers and charge between N200,000 - N2,500,000 per month from each advertiser.

Publish Posts and Reviews for Pay: You can write blog posts on your own blog in exchange for pay, and they are always companies and individuals who want their products and services reviewed or discussed online, and the average charge per post is about N50,000

You can also sell your own products/services on your blog, or blog for others and charge a professional fee!

Nothing wrong with handcuffing Metuh, says Oshiomhole

Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole Tunde Odesola Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, on Wednesday said there was nothing wrong in bringing the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh, to court in handcuffs. The governor stated this in Benin when he met with the new leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State chapter. He described the outcry against the handcuffing of Metuh as uncalled for, saying lesser criminals were given worse treatments in the country. The governor said, “If those accused of lesser crimes are handcuffed and paraded by the police and got no sympathy from the public, Mr. Metuh and others accused of diverting huge public funds, should not have sympathy.” Oshiomhole said the media should not allow President Muhammadu Buhari to be harassed into silence by those who looted the country’s treasury. “I want to appeal to the media to join President Buhari in fighting the anti-corruption war because if we d...
